Hear about what she wishes she’d known about what was coming, how yoga and lifestyle have helped her and how no one size fits all when it comes to dealing with your own journey.

Kate Harrison and Victoria Haydn

Kate Harrison boasts over two decades of experience in the styling industry, where she has empowered countless women to not only look fabulous but also cultivate a profound sense of confidence through their wardrobe selections. Her journey in the field has been marked by continuous evolution, culminating in the birth of The Soulful Stylist method, a revolutionary approach forged during the tumultuous times of the COVID era. Drawing from her extensive expertise and fortified by two advanced qualifications in color therapy healing, Kate seamlessly merges her stylistic finesse with holistic principles. The result? A transformative experience where the potent forces of color therapy and insider styling techniques converge to craft what she calls the “wellbeing wardrobe.” This is more than just fashion; it’s a tangible manifestation of healing and self-expression that we can embody every single day. And now, this groundbreaking methodology is accessible to all through Kate’s innovative online Style Sanctuary membership, offering a transformative journey at an affordable price point.

Victoria Haydn spent over 10 years at the top of the Premier League photographing the stars of Manchester City Football Club. Learning visual marketing tricks from one of the biggest clubs in global sport, Victoria knew she could use her knowledge to help other businesses. Now she helps kick-ass business owners elevate their brands with stunning personal branding photography.

Together, Victoria and Kate founded The Pampered Power Shoot. A luxury, intimate retreat day that allows women into a space away from their day-to-day business, to focus on their personal brand, reconnecting with their authentic self and empowering them to show up as the face of their business. It’s a day for connection and collaboration, with advice on colouring in their lives, wardrobe, business and brands as well as social media hacks, topped off with a mini photoshoot by Victoria, and lunch cooked by a resident private chef.

About the talk: Kate and Victoria bring the essence of their Pampered Power Shoot to you with this dip into activating your own personal brand. A fascinating look into the power of colour across your business, and how to harness its vibrations to create your desired messages. With practical advice on showing up across your socials and boosting your confidence in being the face of your own brand. It’s time to get glowing!

Lester Barr MBE with Paul Topham

Our confirmed headline speaker will be Lester Barr MBE, TEDx speaker, Consultant Surgeon and Breast Cancer Specialist.

Lester has been a consultant surgeon specialising in breast cancer for over 25 years.
He has published over 100 papers on breast cancer and surgical oncology.

In 1997, he founded the charity Prevent Breast Cancer, in order to switch the narrative in breast cancer research away from drug development and treatment towards preventing the disease in the first place.

This led to the opening of the world’s first purpose-built Breast Cancer Prevention Centre in Manchester in 2007, within the Nightingale Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital. Since then the charity has spent £3.6million on running that Centre and on promoting public education and awareness, and awarded £4.9million in research grants towards breast cancer prevention research.

About the talk: Lester will outline the results of research into breast cancer prevention, covering risk factors, genetics, preventative drugs and surgery, screening and early diagnosis. To put this into context Lester will also be joined by fellow trustee of Prevent Breast Cancer, Paul Topham, whose personal story will give this a very personal perspective.

* Our speaker program is subject to potential alteration due to late availability issues beyond our control that may require us to replace a speaker or allow them to join by video link. We confirm that a minimum of 3 speakers will be at the event.

KTS Women in Business is a collaborative project between three of the most renowned networking event organisers in the North West, who have been referred to in the regional press and by attendees as the ‘Queens of Networking’, the ‘Three Amigo’s’ and the ‘Backbone of Networking’ in Cheshire and Manchester.

Kirsty James, Tricia Peters and Sue France (KTS) each run their own networking groups comprising over 30 years of experience organising business and networking events. Between them, they have helped hundreds of people to connect and grow their businesses and they are responsible for thousands of pounds worth of business in the region. They do this by facilitating the right introductions and also by providing events, workshops and seminars to increase the knowledge of their attendees.

Although each of the ladies has their own unique brand and their individual style of bringing people together, their core message is the same. They know that, although social media is a fantastic tool for business development, nothing beats direct communication via events and building up a business relationship gradually.
